DESIGNER - suzie q

designer julie shalit, aka suzie q, has put together a new website packed with gorgeous new pattern designs. julie was the founder of top french decal company les louisettes, but now focuses on freelance design. you can see the full selection online here.

LIGHTING - sam hughes

sam hughes trained as a textile designer at st. martins in london and produced surface designs for all sorts companies for many years. but same had a desire to make as well as design and so she began making lampshades, at first with vintage fabrics but now with her own original designs (featured here). sam also hand makes the bases from oak and chrome. the patterns were inspired by her own textile designs and vintage crockery. you check out sam hughes full lighting collection online here.

DESIGNER - agnes baksa

agnes baksa is a london based graphic artist who studied graphic art and qualified in 2010. agi now works in textile design and illustration as well as paintings for galleries. find out more here.

FABRICS - robin zingone

wonderful designer robin zingone has partnered with robert kaufman fabrics for her first collection "heart garden" which will be available worldwide in july. my favourite is the beautiful floral design above and below.

CARDS - angela adams/egg press

angela adams has teamed up with the wonderful egg press to produce a selection of letterpress cards. the team at egg have been fans of angela for ages and are thrilled to be printing her beautifully designed cards. there are three collections happiland, cloud forrest, and casco bay and they're available both at egg press and online at angela adams.

ILLUSTRATION - matt saunders

matt saunders (aka : rabbit portal) is an illustrator based in leeds who has recently created a super cute series of patterns featuring bears in outfits. i am sure matt's designs would work brilliantly on wallpaper, fabrics, stationery or children's products. matt's recent commissions include illustrations for the cath kidston magazine, where he was also featured in an interview. you can see more about matt or contact him for licensing via his website here or see his work for sale on etsy.

STICKERS - new sizes at MOO

MOO have just introduced two new sizes of high-quality, scratch-proof stickers which as with all moo products offer the flexibility of short print runs and near limitless creativity thanks to printfinity –where every single sticker/label in an order can be different. you can choose from a variety of templates – all-image, all-text, half-image/half-text, or text overlaid on an image. uses could include: fun decorations, promotional logos, product labels, address labels, etc. the new round labels measure 38 mm or 1.5” diameter with a minimum pack size of 52 stickers and the rectangular stickers are • 84 x 55 mm or 3.30 x 2.17” (the same size as rounded corner business card)and come in a minimum pack of 50. as seen here at MOO where they have 40% of all stickers until 30th june.

KIDS DESIGN - hektik

hektik is an online boutique based in rotterdam in the netherlands that specialises in children's wallpaper, accessories, and clothing. using a group of graphicaly drawn characters they have released a series of wallpapers and stickers for decorating kids rooms. as spotted online here at hektik.
